In March 2019, I began a 100 day sobriety experiment, which I successfully completed in June of that year. During that time, I felt my soul crack open and spill outside of my body, allowing me to feel things in ways I’d never experienced before. Without the numbing effects of alcohol, my repressed emotions and ideas quickly bubbled over, and I expressed them the only way I knew how — in writing, mostly via this newsletter.
